The Tequila Tools COMPACT HUB T Vector Double Bend tools are specialized PDR rods designed for technicians who need to work through tight door access, along upper door edges, and around fender lines where conventional rod shapes can make it difficult to reach the damage at the correct angle.
Inspired by Myke Toledo, the T Vector design uses carefully positioned bends and a tapered working end to help the rod reach into confined areas while giving the technician controlled contact against the backside of the panel.
The double-bend geometry is what gives the T Vector its specialized access. Instead of forcing a straight or traditionally shaped rod into a difficult position, the bends help place the working end where you need it while maintaining a useful hand position outside the panel.
At the tip, the tapered profile allows the tool to work down closely against edges, making the T Vector particularly useful when damage sits near areas where clearance becomes increasingly limited.
Two versions are available, both measuring 13" long. The T Vector uses a 5/16" diameter, while the T Vector 2 uses a larger 3/8" diameter.
Both are built for the Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle system and are sold individually.
Please note: The COMPACT Handle is not included. These tools are designed specifically for the Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle system and will NOT fit micro hub handles produced by other brands.
The defining feature of the T Vector is its specialized double-bend design.
When damage is located near the top of a door or along another restricted area, simply having enough rod length doesn't mean you'll be able to position the tip correctly.
The T Vector's bends are designed to help the shaft work around those access limitations and position the tapered tip against the backside of the panel.
This gives technicians a purpose-built option for repairs where standard rod geometry doesn't provide the working angle they need.
The T Vector is particularly useful for confined areas along the top edges of doors.
These areas can limit both the angle and amount of room available for a PDR tool. The double-bend shape helps position the working end into these tighter locations without requiring the entire shaft to follow the same path as the tip.
For technicians doing detailed door work, that specialized geometry can provide an access option when a conventional rod falls short.
The specialized shape isn't limited to doors.
The T Vector is also designed for access around fender lines and other confined panel areas where positioning a standard tool at the correct working angle can be difficult.
The combination of the double bend and tapered tip gives technicians another way to approach damage when surrounding panel geometry restricts tool movement.
The T Vector uses a tapered working tip designed to get down closely against panel edges.
As access gets tighter near an edge, a larger working profile can prevent the tool from reaching the exact location you need.
The tapered design reduces the profile toward the working end, helping the technician position the tip close to these restricted areas while maintaining controlled contact with the panel.
The T Vector is available in two configurations, allowing technicians to choose between 5/16" and 3/8" diameter shafts.
The T Vector 5/16" provides the smaller shaft profile of the two options.
The T Vector 2 3/8" increases the shaft diameter while maintaining the specialized T Vector design.
Both measure 13" long, so the primary difference between the two options is shaft diameter rather than reach.
Both T Vector options are designed specifically for the Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle system.
This allows technicians already using the COMPACT system to add a specialized double-bend rod to their existing setup without purchasing another complete handle assembly.
Choose the T Vector you need, connect it to your compatible COMPACT Handle, and switch to another COMPACT Hub tool when the repair calls for a different rod configuration.
When damage sits near the upper portion of a door, available access and working angle can become limited.
The T Vector's double-bend geometry and tapered tip are designed specifically to help technicians reach into these confined areas and work close to the edge.
Some door repairs simply don't provide a clean path for a conventional rod.
The T Vector gives technicians another shaft geometry to work with when internal clearance or the available opening prevents a standard tool from getting into the proper position.
The T Vector can also be useful when working around fender lines where panel shape and surrounding structures restrict how the tool can approach the damage.
Its specialized bends help position the working end without requiring a straight path to the repair area.
The tapered tip makes the T Vector particularly useful when the working point needs to get down close to an edge.
Rather than trying to force a larger tool profile into the available space, the tapered working end is designed specifically around these more confined repairs.
The T Vector isn't designed to be another general-purpose PDR rod. Its value comes from its geometry.
When damage is located near the top edge of a door, around a fender line, or inside another confined area, the challenge is often getting your tool into the correct position rather than simply having enough reach.
The double-bend design helps work around those access limitations. The tapered tip helps get the working end down closely against edges, and the 13" length keeps the tool compact for detailed work.
You also have two diameter choices. Select the 5/16" T Vector for the smaller shaft profile or the 3/8" T Vector 2 when you want the larger diameter option.
For technicians already using the Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle system, the T Vector adds a specialized tool geometry for the difficult door and fender access situations where conventional rods don't line up the way you need them to.
Each tool is sold separately.
COMPACT Handle is NOT included.
The T Vector and T Vector 2 are designed specifically for the Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle system.
The Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle only fits the COMPACT HUB system. These tools will NOT fit micro hub handles produced by other brands.
Make sure you have the correct Tequila Tools COMPACT Handle before purchasing.
