Black Plague Super Straight Tabs are engineered to deliver cleaner, more controlled pulls compared to traditional round glue tabs. While they may look similar at first glance, the performance difference comes from the internal geometry and overall structure of the tab.
At the center of each tab is a machined self-centering wedge built directly into the puller. When force is applied, this wedge naturally aligns the tab, helping keep the pull straight and consistent. Instead of twisting, walking, or shifting under pressure, the tab stays centered, allowing the force to transfer directly into the dent.
These tabs are also taller than standard round tabs. That added height creates a controlled flex zone above the glue line. The upper portion of the tab absorbs small inconsistencies during pulling, such as slight angle changes or uneven pressure, while the base remains stable and firmly bonded to the panel.
The Thick Face Yellow version is built for maximum pulling strength. When dents are stubborn, deep, or resistant to movement, this is the tab designed to deliver the power needed to move metal effectively.
Traditional round tabs can shift under load, especially when pulling angles are not perfectly straight. This leads to uneven force, weaker pulls, and more correction work.
Super Straight Tabs solve this with a built-in self-centering system.
The internal wedge aligns itself as tension increases. This keeps the tab centered and reduces torque during the pull.
The added height allows the top of the tab to flex slightly while the base stays planted. This absorbs off-angle input and keeps the glue bond intact.
Instead of spreading force unevenly, the tab directs energy straight into the dent, improving efficiency and consistency.
The Thick Face Yellow tabs are designed for situations where standard tabs do not provide enough force.
They feature a thicker face material that increases pulling strength, making them ideal for:
When you need the dent to move, this is the tab built for that job.
For lighter repairs or more delicate control, a thinner face option like the green version is better suited to avoid over-pulling.
The structure of these tabs works with your pulling motion instead of fighting it.
This reduces:
The result is a more direct pull and a cleaner repair.
The concept behind these tabs follows a simple principle.
A tall tree can move at the top while the roots stay fixed.
Super Straight Tabs follow the same idea.
This allows the tool to manage real-world pulling conditions while keeping the bond strong and stable.
Built-in wedge keeps the tab aligned under load for more accurate pulls.
Tall profile absorbs uneven input without breaking adhesion.
Thick face construction delivers strong force for tough dents.
Reduces stress on the glue bond during off-angle pulls.
Cleaner pulls mean fewer follow-up corrections.
Designed from hands-on experience, not just theory.
