Every PDR tech who glue pulls knows the routine. You set a standard round tab, pull, then move to a crease tab and the head on your slide hammer is suddenly the wrong one. So you stop, swap heads, and lose your rhythm.
Closed heads give great support around standard tabs but crowd longer crease tabs. Pass-through heads clear crease tabs but give up some of that support. Most of us have just lived with the trade-off.

The Semi Pass-Through Window
The heart of the Hot Shot is the exclusive WilleyQuick® Semi Pass-Through Window. It is a redesigned head that takes the best of both traditional styles and puts them in one piece of aluminum.
Standard tabs get the surrounding support you need for clean, consistent pulls. Crease tabs get the clearance they need to seat and pull properly. You go from a round tab to a crease tab without touching the head.

Smooth, controlled pulling power
A slide hammer is only as good as the way it feels on the hundredth pull of the day. The Hot Shot was balanced as a complete system, so the head, shaft and handle work together.
Carbon fiber core shaft. The slide weight runs on a smooth carbon fiber core that cuts friction while staying stiff enough for pro work. The action stays fluid from the start of the pull to impact, so your attention stays on the panel, not the tool.
Longer throw. The Hot Shot has more slide travel than many hot glue slide hammers. That gives the weight more room to build momentum. Use the full travel for a stronger hit, or shorten your stroke for a light finishing pull.
1 lb 6.2 oz handle. The sliding handle carries real mass. Paired with the longer throw, it lets the tool do the work instead of your arm, which matters when you are deep into a hail job.
Built to live on your cart
The head is precision machined aluminum with a black anodized finish. It looks sharp and stands up to daily shop and mobile use. The Hot Shot now ships exclusively with the black head.
There is also an optional Anti-Roll Cap. Anyone who has watched a slide hammer roll off a cart knows why it is there. Leave it on for a stable resting position, or pull it off if you prefer a slimmer profile.
Where the Hot Shot earns its place
High-volume hail. When you are making pull after pull, every head swap breaks your flow. With the Hot Shot you move between standard and crease tabs and keep going.
Crease repairs. Crease tabs get the clearance a closed head often can't give, and the same tool stays in your hand as the repair changes.
Everyday glue pulling. This is not a specialty tool for creases only. The support around standard tabs makes it a primary slide hammer for door dings and general hot glue work.
Finishing pulls. The smooth shaft and long travel let you dial the force right down for light, deliberate pulls as the dent comes up.
